YouMatch Terms of Use
Welcome to YouMatch!
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the YouMatch dating service (the “Service”), including the website, mobile applications, and any other features, functionalities, or content offered by YouMatch (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You may not use the Service if you are prohibited by law from doing so. No children, child photos, or pornography is allowed. Violation of this rule will result in strict punishment, including account suspension or termination.
- Your Account
You are responsible for creating and maintaining a secure password for your account. You are also responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
- User Content
You are responsible for all content you post on the Platform (“User Content”). You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to post User Content. You agree not to post User Content that is:
- Illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Violates the privacy of others
- Contains viruses or other malicious code
- Promotes commercial activity (except with our prior written consent)
We may remove or edit User Content at our sole discretion.
- Data Usage and Processing
By using the Service, you grant us permission to store and process your photos and other personal data provided within the Platform for the purpose of facilitating its functionalities and features.
- Consent for Uploaded Content
By uploading photographs and personal data of other individuals (including but not limited to their names, surnames, and birthdays), you confirm that you have obtained consent from the owner of the photo as well as the individual depicted in the photo. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for obtaining such consent and for any actions taken in relation to such uploads. In the event of claims from third parties regarding the usage of such photos and/or personal data, you agree to take full responsibility and indemnify YouMatch from any damages or liabilities incurred.
- Responsibility and Indemnification
You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for all consequences arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to the uploading of photos and personal data. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YouMatch and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform or any violation of these Terms.
- Appropriate User Behavior
You agree to conduct yourself appropriately on the Platform and to adhere to respectful communication rules. This includes refraining from using fake photos, posting nudity, pornography, engaging in scams, offering sexual services or bullying other users. You also agree to upload photos where your face is clearly visible on your profile on the Platform. Failure to comply with these rules may result in your account being blocked for any reason without explanation or notice. In such cases the user’s purchases are terminated together with the user account and can’t be restored.
- Payments
YouMatch offers several payment methods for premium features and services:
- Credit Cards
- Google Pay/Apple Pay
- Crypto Payments
- Telegram Stars
We use a secure third-party payment processor to handle all transactions. You are responsible for all charges incurred on your account and you proceed with payments at your own risk. YouMatch does not store or process your payment details. Your payment information is securely transmitted to and processed by third-party payment service providers. YouMatch shall not be liable for any issues, damages, or losses arising from your use of third-party payment services.
All prices are in US dollars excluding VAT. Any differences in the amounts shown may be due to the buyer’s location, payment service provider and local tax regulations such as VAT costs.
All the purchases in the Platform must be used during 1 year after the date of purchase, otherwise they expire and become invalid and can’t be used, withdrawn or refunded. It is recommended to use your purchases promptly to avoid any potential cancellation.
The Service also offers a loyalty program where users can earn credits/bonuses for specific actions within the product (e.g., inviting friends). These credits can be used for paid features in place of traditional payment methods. Specific details regarding how to earn and redeem credits/bonuses will be outlined separately within the Platform.
- Disclaimers
The Platform and all content and information provided herein are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
YouMatch does not guarantee the compatibility of any users or the success of any interactions on the Platform. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
- Limitation of Liability
YouMatch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform.
- Termination
We may terminate your account at any time for any reason, with or without notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
- Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of jurisdiction mutually agreed upon by the parties.
- Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts location mutually agreed upon by the parties.
- Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and YouMatch regarding your use of the Platform.
- Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on the Platform.
